my birthday.

Wednesday, May 21, was my 29th birthday.
Chris and I woke at 5am SICK.
So unfair!
I had a lunch date, a dinner date and a wonderful cheesecake all waiting for me that day.
Instead, we did nothing.
I did have friends and family call me and bring me stuff though.
That made my day!!!
We finally got to celebrate on Thursday night and my cheesecake was amazing! Thanks to my sweet friend JoDee!
Thank you all for making my sick birthday special anyway!

This is me and Heather Hull.
I believe we were 11 years old.
We swam in her pool every chance we got!
She posted a birthday shout out for me and added this picture.
It made me laugh and brought back SO many memories!
Love you Heather!

Preschool Graduation!- May 15th

Ellie did such a great job in her Graduation Program. I am so proud of her and amazed at how much she has learned this past school year! She is really growing up and becoming quite the social butterfly like her big sister!

I know she will miss her teacher Miss Peggy a lot! She is a wonderful teacher and we love her!

Peyton enjoyed the program too! It is so nice that he is starting to sit still for a minute or two!

Girls Night Out.

While the boys were gone camping, us girls took the opportunity to have a girls night out, so we headed for the mall (where else do girls go?). We ate until we couldn't eat anymore. Then off to the pet store to see the cute little baby animals. We saw two kittens that looked just like Viggo. Taylor teared up and was trying to hide it. Which in turn made me tear up and I too tried to hide it. We asked if we could hold them. Out of curiosity I asked how much?
Only $699!
We loved on them for a few more minutes and left.
We had our first photo booth photo shoot.
Then went to Claire's for some much needed nail polish and fake nails for the girls. After some serious indecision from Taylor we finally found what she wanted and left. But not before we had some Dots. On the way home Taylor came up with a great idea to go rent a movie and stay up late! We ended the night with some nail care and sprawling out on the couch watching Matilda.
It was perfect.

Father & Sons Campout- May 9th & 10th

Chris said they had a great time, minus Peyton peeing in his pants several times. So he made an executive decision to pick up the potty training again when they got home.

Smart move.

Home Sweet Home..for the night anyway.

Can't come home without a war wound.

So much fun when there are lots and lots of friends to hang out with!

'The Host' book signing

So last night I went with my sister to 'The Host' book signing.
We got bumped up to the front (so fun to have connections(Chris' dad and Stephenie's dad are first cousins and my sister makes and sells her t-shirts) a baby with us, and a mistake on our order for our books and tickets) and got our books signed at the beginning of the 4 hours she would be there to sign who knows how many thousands of books. Then we headed over to chat with Stephenie's parents and husband.Stephenie's dad said that most everyone in her immediate family loved 'The Host' and even liked it better than Twilight! (shocking, I know!) So this makes me very excited to start it.

Two tickets to see Neil Diamond on October 10th!
I have always loved him ever since I was a little girl!
I made Chris promise me that if Mr. Diamond ever came to Arizona we would go see him. Thanks for keeping your promise honey!
