Happy Halloween!

It's tradition to go to Grandma and Grandpa Prince's
for chili before going trick or treating.

They are always such sweet hosts.

And the chili and homemade bread are to die for!

They have the best Ash tree to run around in circles
OVER AND OVER AGAIN.

There are always plenty of cousins to do the running around with.

More cousins.

and even more.
(trust me there are lots more not pictured)

Running thru the spooky streets!

Hope everyone's Halloween was as spooky and fun as ours!

Trunk r' Treat

Saturday evening was our ward trunk r' treat.

As you can see the kids looked fabulous!
Preston the most handsome Pirate, Ellie of course is gorgeous Cinderella, Taylor the most beautiful Sweetheart Bat, and Peyton our cute little Indian.

Our Sweetheart Bat and her friend Bailey the witch.

Yummy hotdogs and our Indian trying so hard not to get ketchup on himself just like I asked.

One smiley pirate.

The Indian LOVED being tossed in the air and wasn't happy when it was time to stop.

Face Paintings

Saturday was the Fall Festival at the kids school.

I took the 3 big kids while Chris and Peyton went to Sierra Vista for my nephew's baby blessing.
There was just too much going on here for us all to go.
(Thanks for being a sport and driving 3 hours to only stay for 1 hour hun!)

It was dang hot!

But we still had fun and the kids got their cute little cheeks painted.

Aren't they so cute?

I Cried Wolf.

It was NOT intentional though. After a lot of thought I have decided that I will not allow one rude person (who isn't necessarily a threat) to ruin blogging for the rest of us. So I am not going private.

I was shocked and hurt that someone out there could be so judgemental and rude. It never once crossed my mind that it was possible to get a mean comment from anyone out there in the blogging world. Several people have told me that they too have recieved aweful comments! It's terrible that it is apparently a common practice.

Sorry for dragging you all through my lame drama. I feel so silly that I acted while my emotions were running high. Thanks for standing by my side everyone! I really appreciate all of you and your sweet comments!

And for all you people who just can't help yourself from putting in your two cents, if you seriously feel concern for what another blogger is doing or saying,

Try using some TACT!

Disneyland Trip-mostly California Adventure

Saturday October 20th

I woke up at 4am coughing and gasping for air big time!
It was aweful. I felt like I had been hit by a train and coughed off and on, mostly on, for like 3 hours. By the time everyone actually woke up and was excited to get ready for another fun filled day I was ready to die. Chris ended up taking our older 3 to California Adventures while I got Peyton and I ready at a snails pace.

Chris said the Bug's Life 3-D movie was so cool.
The kids loved it too.

Chris loved the acceleration of this ride, but didn't really like the free fall feeling.
I would have loved it!

Peyton and I took the Trolly and arrived just in time to see the High School Musical Parade!
Taylor got out there and danced when they invited all the little kids to join them.
It was actually super entertaining and the voices on those kids were amazing!
Very talented!

Then we saw Cruella De Ville and couldn't resist meeting her.
She was so perfectly mean!
She asked Ellie and Peyton if they sat in that thing (the stroller) all day and then told them they were lazy. I love her mean smile. She was great.

Peyton absolutely LOVED the rocket ride!

Taylor and I went on this really fun swing ride and Preston wasn't tall enough...so he pouted.

We did lots of window shopping and bought a few fun things too.

Ellie's new sunglasses. I wish we knew where they were now.

Everyone got a Mickey sucker.

This didn't last long. She kept covering his eyes so I offered her a piggy back ride.

The long awaited Cinderella!
We were so thrilled when we finally got to meet her.
She was so kind and sweet to my girls.
As she was saying bye to us, Ellie turned around and said,
"Wait, I am going to be you for Halloween."
Then Cinderella said, "Are you?! Well, maybe I can have the Fairy Godmother make you a dress."
Ellie said, "Ok." with the sweetest smile on her face.
It was a memorable moment.

Woody was so nice and smiley.
Peyton wasn't too sure though.

Mrs. Incredible

The final ride was It's a Small World.

It was Ellie's favorite ride. She was in heaven.
She kept pointing at all the different girl dolls and saying,
"I want to be that girl mom! And that one!"
It really was so fun to watch her.

We were going to try and stay for the firework show, but it was so rediculously crowded.
Our kids were exausted and so was I.
Taylor wanted to do some more shopping so we did that instead.

Preston and Ellie stayed asleep through the transfer from the stroller to the tram.
It was fun to snuggle them. There's something about your own sleeping kids.
They suddenly become sweeter than ever.

The last tram ride for us till next time!
~

Our trip was so much fun! It was worth every ounce of my mustered up energy. Every embarrassing coughing fit I would have as soon as I would be smack dab in the middle of a line with lots and lots of people around (probably wishing I would get the heck away from them!).
And all the IB Profrin candy poppin' I did just to function.
I can't wait till next time! And I better not be sick!

Disneyland Trip

Day 2- Friday October 19th
Our first day at Disneyland.
7:30 am
On the tram. They don't even know what's coming.

Just went down the Matterhorn.
It's starting to get really exciting!

Peyton's first ride was Mr. Toad's Adventure (or whatever it's called) .
It's pretty dark and kinda scary for a 2 year old.
This kinda set the mood for the next couple of rides...uneasy.

Lovin' the flying.

Waiting for KC Jr. Train ride.

Ben, Kim, and Brooklyn were our riding buddies.

Max, Kim, Tillman, and Easton joined us on our Disneyland trip.
They were lucky and had Easton wear shoes that made him a whopping 40 inches so they didn't hang around with us as much since little Easty could ride most of the rides.
Luckies!
We bought an autograph book and went around meeting some of the characters.

Peyton finally crashed around 4pm.

We waited in line for what felt like forever to meet
MICKEY MOUSE!
He was worth the wait.

Then we got in another line to meet the Princess'.
Ben was a fun uncle and played games with Taylor.
Isn't that just so cute and sweet?!

The boys kept themselves entertained with their new Buzz Lightyear guns while we waited.

We met Princess Jasmine first.
She was Taylor's favorite and Ellie couldn't keep her eyes off her.

Then Belle was next.

And finally, Mulan.
Right after our turn was over the Princess' swapped with the 3 Princess' we REALLY wanted to see. Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, and Snow White.
We were told we would have to get back in line!
We were so sad. So we left.
But not for long. Next was the "Honey I Shrunk the Audience".
Then we road Space Mountain and it was AWESOME!
Taylor loved the ride. Preston not so much.
We road lots of rides, but didn't take pictures at all of them.
It was a fun filled day. We stayed at Disneyland for 13 hours!
So exausting, but so worth it!
~
Day 2 at Disneyland coming tomorrow.
(I'm hoping if I say that it will force me to make sure I do it)
