Happy Birthday Chris~ finally!!

Chris felt like he hadn't really had a birthday this year because of checking in to the hospital pretty much at the stroke of midnight on his special day. After finally getting out of the hospital I would hear comments here and there about how he didn't even get a "real" birthday this year. I decided that he needed an "official" birthday celebration so I declared June 25th as his birthday for 2009. He received phone calls, texts, and the whole shebang.
He said it really felt like his birthday and he felt much better after feeling like he had finally turned 33. If I were him I think I wouldn't have complained about not getting a year older!
But whatever...Hahaha!!

Birthday Girl

November 6, 2008

My sweet little Ellie Morgan is 5!

After school we went to As You Wish with Brooklyn and Kim. They had fun painting and were quite the little perfectionists.

Afterwards we went to Fatburger for dinner. These two are so funny and goofy when they get together. Kim and I had a fun time listening to these two while nursing our babies and sucking down our yummy vanilla shakes.

Then we headed for home and got surprised by Chris and the other kids with balloons everywhere.

Grandpa gave some piggy back rides when he came over for cake.

Happy Birthday baby girl! Hope you had a super fun day!

I love you tons and tons!

lucky number seven

My children just keep getting older. This time it was Preston's turn. Sunday birthdays aren't always the funnest, but we managed to make it a fun day anyway. First was church, then lunch which consisted of corn dogs, tater tots and corn- per Preston's request. Then Grandma, Grandpa, Aaron and Lori all came over for some Village Inn birthday pie! A few hours later we were off to a fancy family dinner to celebrate one last night with Grandma and Grandpa Shelley before they leave on their mission tomorrow morning.

Carson and Grandma Shelley

Happy Birthday buddy bear! We love you so much! You are such a wonderful boy! Hope your year being 7 is the best!

My baby girl turns 9!

Happy happy Birthday Taylor dear!

We love you so much!

The celebrating began on Saturday with a trip to Golfland Sunsplash with Taylor's awesome and super fun dad, Preston, and their friends, Bailey and Mckay. They had so much fun! On their way home they went to Dairy Queen and brought Ellie, Peyton and I all a treat home as well. Bailey and Mckay gave Taylor some jewelry, a watch, lotion, lipgloss, fake nails, body wash, and a loofa. She was in girly heaven.

Sunday, her actual birthday, she turned 9 years old! After church she opened her other presents (her main big one was a day at golfland/sunsplash) which were a pair of pants and a snake webkinz that she has been dying to have. Grandma and Grandpa came over to celebrate with us and we had some delicious cheesecake (Taylor's request).

My sweet Peyton got bit on the eyelid on Friday night by a mosquito and it majorly swelled! It lasted for 2 days and just kept getting puffier and puffier. Today it looks almost back to normal.

Happy Birthday Peyton and Grandma!

The Birthday kids.

Peyton got a Fire Breathing Dragon, Diego in a Dune Buggy and a Diego Wii game.

Grandma loved her new jewelry that Chris picked out and it made her cry when she opened it. Peyton loved the green squishy ball from Grandma and Grandpa.

Peyton thought it was great that we all sang to him and Grandma!

I am so grateful to have this cute sweet little boy in our family! He is so fun and happy!
Happy Birthday to both of you!

my birthday.

Wednesday, May 21, was my 29th birthday.
Chris and I woke at 5am SICK.
So unfair!
I had a lunch date, a dinner date and a wonderful cheesecake all waiting for me that day.
Instead, we did nothing.
I did have friends and family call me and bring me stuff though.
That made my day!!!
We finally got to celebrate on Thursday night and my cheesecake was amazing! Thanks to my sweet friend JoDee!
Thank you all for making my sick birthday special anyway!

This is me and Heather Hull.
I believe we were 11 years old.
We swam in her pool every chance we got!
She posted a birthday shout out for me and added this picture.
It made me laugh and brought back SO many memories!
Love you Heather!

Happy Birthday Heather!!!

You are such a wonderful friend and I am so grateful that we have managed to stay in touch for so many years!
Did you know that we have known eachother for over 18 years?!
That makes us sound SOOO old!
*Thanks for being the only one who wanted to play with me on the playground when I was the new girl at school!
*Thanks for all the laughs in Mr. Bones class!
*Thanks for sticking up for me whenever Vernee was rude to me! (she probably just thought I wasn't good enough to be your best friend)
*Thanks for the all expenses paid to summer camp with you and to your mom for a card in the mail EVERY single day!
*Thanks for not laughing at me when I was hanging out at your house when my mom called to tell me my hampster died and I bawled my eyes out!
*Thanks for not getting mad at me when I dropped a huge bowl of water all over your parents nice wood floors!
*Thanks for being I think the only other girl to skinny dip at one of your birthday parties!
*Thanks for being the friend that got their very first bra with me!
*Thanks for letting me eat at your house even when you weren't hungry!
*Thanks for letting me spend the night all those bazillion times!
*And for not calling me a baby when I brought my blanket with me every single time!
*Thanks for daring me to slide down the water fall at Riverside park in my clothes so that I would always remember how embarrassing it was to have a wet muddy butt and your mom yell at us for wondering off!
*Thanks for telling me how beautiful I was all growing up even though I didn't really believe you, coming from one of the most talented beautiful girls I've ever known!
*Thanks for all the memories and so many more that I didn't mention!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love you so much and will forever and ever!
I am so happy that you have such a wonderful family and a happy wonderful life!
Oh, and so so sorry for busting a gut laughing when you did that front flip off my trampoline onto your stomach and landed on the brick steps! It really did look quite amazing and funny!
Good thing my mom was there to comfort you since I was clearly not in the right state of mind to do so myself.

Happy Birthday Taylor!

Taylor turned 8 years old at exactly 2:01 a.m.!
To celebrate she decided she wanted to go to dinner
at Red Robin and go see Shrek the Third with some of her friends.

They all ordered from the kids menu and got their own chocolate shake!
After dinner we headed over to the dollar theater and didn't make it in time for the 7:25 showing.
Luckily High School Musical 2 was premiering on the Disney Channel at 8.
Everyone was super excited to go back to our house to watch it...
except for Taylor.
She was sad.
She really really really wanted to see Shrek the Third.
So the whole way home her friends tried desperately to cheer her up.
She is one lucky girl to have such great friends!
We had about 15 minutes to spare so it was a good time to open
Presents!
Yay! A Bratz Art kit!
Thanks Lynae!
Yay! A Cheeky Monkey Webkinz!
Thanks Gwen!
Yay! A Hippo Webkinz!
Thanks Sydney!

(I missed the hug)
Yay! A Littlest Pet Puppy Nursery!
Thanks Bailey!
Yay! A Cat's Cradle book of tricks!
Thanks Mom and Dad!

Then it was time for the show!
All the candy we were planning on sneaking into the theater.

This is WAY better than the theater!

On a commercial we took a break for some
ice cream cake.
Make a Wish!

When the movie ended the girls went wild and danced!
and jumped,
and climbed,
and had a pillow fight
all on my couch!
(not usually EVER allowed, but this was a special occasion)
They all had so much fun!
Chris and I even did too!
The things these girls said were enough to crack up the grumpiest person!
They were hilarious!
I am so glad Taylor has such a great group of friends!
I'd say she had a GREAT Birthday!
Happy Birthday our sweet little Honey Bunny!!!
We love you so very much!
